Day 2 for SPW at the world champs involved two of our swimmers Stephanie Rice and Kenrick Monk. In the morning heats Kenrick was able to make the semi finals for the 200 free, alongside training partner Tae Hwan Park.
In the night session Steph meet tough opposition in the final of the 200IM where she was not able to to improve her semi time and finished in 4th place behind Alicia Coutts who was just pipped at the post to finish with a silver medal. Kenrick was close to his PB , but it was not enough to get into the final 8 - Park was 4th fastest for the final. Well done Steph and Kenrick!!
Day 3 today will see Bronte Barratt and Ryan Napoleon competing in the 200 and 800 free respectively - Good Luck!!
