Apologies first from the web master for not updating the results from the last few days of the Nationals and for the lateness of this report.

Our young swimmers faced a huge challenge this year without 5 of our medal winning swimmers from last year and also, according to head Coach Michael Bohl, one of the toughest and fastest Age Nationals he has seen for a while. Yet the swimmers rose to the challenge and achieved times near to their best or better to help SPW to fourth place in the Team Point score - and this was without a gold medal: 6 Silver, 8 Bronze and 4 relay Silver medals.

There were many good swims and a few to mention are:
Emma Wright - making her first Age National Final as a 12 year old, 100 Breast
Georgia Bohl - Silver medal in her first Nationals, 14yr 200 Breast
Liam Rayfield - Silver medal in 15yr 400IM
Mel Bath - gutsy never give in Bronze in 17-18yr 200Fly
Madeleine Van Hunnik - Silver medal in her last Age Nationals

Congratulations to all the swimmers and the coaches - Well Done St Peters Western
