Day 2 was a tough day for St Peters Western with the club only competing in 3 finals for the night and not being rewarded with a medal, but the swimmers did put in great efforts to achieve personal best times in these finals.
The finals:
Cade Fasala 4th Boys 15yr 100 Free
Gabrielle Wilson 4th Girls 14yr 200 Back
Madison Wilson 7th Girls 16yr 50 Free
Other swimmers who competed hard on the day and achieved PBs were Bridget Carkeet, Maddison Bygraves, Morgan Timms, Jack Pye, Chris Hansen, Melanie Bath, Harry Pullar and Peter Pavlides. Two other swimmers to mention are Jack Seawright and Austin Whaymanwho achieved 17s and 21.5s respectively in the Boys 14yr 1500m Free - great effort boys.
SPW only had one rely team being the Girls 18&U 4x100 Free Relay of Madeleine Van Hunnik, Rebecca Pegg, Melanie Bath and Amy Allen finishing just outside a medal place in 4th position with all the girls doing great individual times.
So well done to the swimmers today and good luck for Day 3.
